Mirzakulova Ulmeken Rakhimovna
Mirzakulova Ulmeken Rakhimovna was born in 1958, Kazakh. In 1980, she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Dentistry of the Alma-Ata State Medical Institute, during her studies she was a Lenin scholarship holder, in 1977-79 she was elected as a deputy of the Alma-Ata City Council of People’s Deputies. After graduating from the institute in 1980, she was sent to the Department of Surgical Dentistry as a trainee-researcher, since 1982 she worked as a senior laboratory assistant, since 1987 as an assistant, and in 1994 she was elected by competition as an assistant professor, in 2012 – as a professor, since September 2013 – worked as the head of the module of propaedeutics of surgical dentistry, since February 2015 – as the head of the department of surgical dentistry of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov. In 1992 she defended her thesis “Comprehensive treatment of fractures of the lower jaw with the use of electrical stimulation”, in 2010 – her doctoral dissertation “Diagnosis and treatment of chronic parenchymal sialadenitis”. She was engaged in medical and advisory work on the basis of the dental clinic of JSC “NMU”, earlier – on the basis of the maxillofacial and admission departments of the 5th City Clinical Hospital of Almaty. She mastered and introduced such methods of research and treatment of patients as electromyography, rheography, intravascular and vascular exposure to helium-neon laser radiation, nanotechnology, etc. She regularly participates in scientific and practical conferences, international forums and congresses, making presentations. She published 197 scientific works, including 1 textbook, 1 manual for doctors, 4 study guides, 2 inventions, 4 prepatents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 7 rationalization proposals, 4 articles abroad with a non-zero impact factor. Participated in the implementation of three scientific and technical projects (1 – MES, 1 – MH, 1 – intra-university). Has the highest medical category, gratitude and diplomas of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, in 2011 she was awarded the breastplate of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan ” Денсаулық сақтау ісіне қосқан үлесі үшін”, in 2014 – the Silver Medal of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, breastplate of the EKAC, in 2019 – breastplate of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Денсаулық сақтау ісінің үздігі”.

The scientific research direction is the development of methods for treating salivary gland diseases, the use of platelet-rich plasma to optimize the healing of facial wounds, nanocrystalline hydroxylapatite, and other biocomposite materials in the bone plastic of the maxillofacial region.
Grants (participation in scientific grants) – participated in the implementation of three STP: 1. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Developing an anti-aging program to ensure the active longevity of the elderly people in Kazakhstan. 2.
